I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Like many people, when asked to write about myself I get tongue- (or in this case, mouse-) tied. How to introduce myself to newcomers without sounding ridiculous to friends? Since you're on to this page you probably know me already - in fact you're probably friends or family, so why don't you email me?
If you're just surfing, Hi and welcome. What I love about MySpace is the way it connects you with people all across the world... Hi! to whoever visited from Texas, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, and Tokyo...!
Please click on the player on the left to hear a great track by utoXator (and then go and add them to your Friends).
The Mugshots photo album has some pix of my family; My Photos has a selction of my own shots that I'm happy with. I've reduced the file size for quick uploading; if you're interested in a larger version please contact me.
I've lived in Staffordshire, North Wales, Lancashire, the Highlands, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, London, Essex, and North Yorkshire....
More anon in dribs and drabs, as and when I think of something intelligent.

Mark Knopfler - Romeo And Juliet A Night In London

Well, I've been listening to this a lot lately as I'm trying to learn it. And that's got to be the best acoustic riff ever (with the possible exception of the little fill Martin Carthy slips into "Bla...

5th International Sword Spectacular, York

The down side of being involved in the organisation of any reasonably large event is that you're likely to miss significant chunks of it when things need doing unexpectedly. In that respect I was less...

Christmas gigs 2

On to the annual Caedmon "Carols For All" in the beautiful St Hilda's. Over the last few years the congregation has dwindled, which is a shame as I always feel Christmas starts properly at this servic...
