"LEVEL THEM OUT "Miami's newest sensation, Rene Martinez, better known to the streets and public alike as " Level ", is a young Cuban American fighter who is determined to grace the world with bold determination and flawless performance whenever he steps into the cage. However, the history of this Dade County Legend is less likely to coincide with his recent success. Through ruthless encounters with street life as a youth, dealing with the troubles of a broken home and other environmental pressures, Level sought out a new family within his neighborhood gang at the age of 12. He was given the name "Level" as he rapidly became notorious for knocking out his enemies. " Level Them Out " soon became the catch phrase that created panic amongst those that dared to cross him. Although it seemed that he would now dedicate himself to life in the streets, Level had his sights on recreating his public persona and rising above adversity. After years of hardcore gangbanging, witnessing his friends lose their lives in shootings and having his own life jump in and out of jail, Level decided to focus his anger into something positive. He decided to take his fighting skills into a gym.This marked the beginning of his extensive journey to becoming a professional fighter, as many of those surrounding only recognized him as a "gangster"and not a credible athlete. Level has attained an undefeated record amidst, what is widely recognized as brutal bare knuckle throw downs throughout Dade County. Level is often equated by media and fans abroad as the next Kimbo Slice. To put it in perspective and draw the parallel, each of these star athletes have garnered a widespread fan base by ways of the internet, creating an uncanny buzz within the realm of what is referred to as "Back Yard Brawls" and/or "Bare Knuckle Fights" . After being challenged, Level's first match in the back yard of Kimbo's team demonstrated his heart, re-affirming his reputation as a knockout artist. Due to this incredible success, Level has had the ability to draw mass attention to himself by internationally known pro fighters, coaches and managers. This recognition afforded Level the opportunity to receive multiple offers to sign major contracts with professional leagues.
Today, Level no longer has any gang affiliation. He spends most of his time training in several facilities through out South Florida with some of the most prestigious fighters in professional MMA. He is currently studying Muy Thai Kickboxing, Ju Juitsu, and grappling in addition to the rigorous regimen of weight training and the continued progression of his overall athletic abilities. He enters professional cage fighting with an unblemished 8-0 backyard record, in addition to his hundreds of victories as a street fighter. Level is undoubtedly projecting an undefeated record in the chapters that lay ahead.Level's ambition to succeed as a professional MMA fighter is fueled by an inner passion to reach out to at-risk youth in South Florida and be a positive role model for them. Furthermore, he wants to advocate and help his mother achieve a lifelong dream--to open a youth foundation, a school, where kids would have the opportunity to be successful at reaching their dreams. ............
