Free party sound system, live act and dj, born on the amsterdam squat scene with the Afrika raves, me and a few guys found the place wide open and begging to be rinsed and put on a party that even we never expected to happen like it did. So good that we lived in the dark hole with no windows heating or water for another month and a half just to guard it to put on a rave for 2000+ that few who attended will ever forget (Respect to Jakob , Moss and Chris the Berserker for living in there at minus 5 degrees with me ) . After we were evicted we went on to do a series of hit and run warehouse raves all over the city until eventually the police made it pretty uncomfortable for us and in the nick of time one of ours boys got spotted by aphex twin. We got invited to play at the lowlands festival with the twin and sent on tour around europe. After the tour finished the sound sytem came back to england, half the guys are still in the dam, half of us (including me) are now here in leeds. When we got to leeds hooked up with welsh james who also had rig and we combined to become Terra Sound Crew. We did club, warehouse and outdoor parties until the financial strain of clubs got too much. Now its strictly free parties again, mostly in the summer and outdoor. Alot of people have helped out along the way, not all of them are here now but are all still loved and missed. Right now the rig is dormant but warming up for the summer, new kit and looking for new faces to help organise and play with leeds' longest standing free party rig. Anyone interested get in touch. Were up for collaborations aswell joining rigs together or multi rig free parties. The original rule is now back in place - if you dont help carry the speakers, you dont get to play (except Balki who's got a bad back).
