About Me


re:groove is the groovechild of funkmeister Carly B. Rooted in funk - its continuing mission is to spread happy music to the righteous via such bands as Funk School, Funk School's Boogie Nights and Carly B's Awesome Funk Collective.
Carly B plays a variety of instruments including saxophone, clarinet, bass guitar, double bass, guitar, keys and drums. He currently employs these skills in a variety of bands and can be seen and heard regularly gigging both nationally and internationally. He has appeared as the sax player with 'The Australian Pink Floyd Show', 'The Cheatles' and 'The New Mastersounds' and has played bass with 'Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake)', 'Chris Cook' (mad Amercian hick), 'Mary Lee's Corvette' and the 'Jim Kirkpatrick Band'. He also frequently appears on the classical music circuit performing David Fanshawe's 'African Sanctus' with Simone Rebello's 'Backbeat'. Carl has also featured as a session musician and guest producer on a number of released tracks including Sonic Generation’s acclaimed ‘Absolute Magnitude’ and 'Funky Solution’.
Carly B has recently been touring internationally with 'The Australian Pink Floyd Show'.
