About Me
Howzit going: My name is Shane Konno, I'm a 28 years old, and I live in Hawaii. I enjoy playing the ukulele, learning, and practicing new things. I've been playing ukulele around 6 years now. I've Taken music lessons with Roy Sakuma Ukulele Studio, Jody Kamisato, Bruce Shimabukuro in the past. As for now I'm still learning new things with Harry Koizumi, and Dr. Trey. There is still so much more I need to learn/practice. I have also had guidence and words of wisdom, and encouragement from Bruce Shimabukuro, Henry Kapono, James Hill(Canada),Herb Ohta J.r, Keahiwai(Mailani) , Online friends out there, D.R. Trey, friends, family, and all of you out there who took the time to listen to my songs and write to me. I've just started recording some of my music on my own, no recording studio, just my computer at home. I really enjoy writing, and making new music music. I'm just having fun with my music for now and I would love to share it with everyone who is interested. The internet is a wonderful key to doing just that. If I can just touch someones heart through my music, and make them smile, that would mean alot to me. I'd like to say thank you for those who made those moments come true. I'd like to say thank you for your intrest in my music, there will be more to come, Now The fun begin's! I enjoy reading all your letters, it's what keeps me going. I would love to hear your advice, suggestions, and comments. I have so much to learn, and I can't wait to really get to know my ukulele. I know I'm not there yet , but with alot of practice...I will be oneday! So to many goodtimes to come, hoping to share it with all of you......Thank you very much for finding me, and taking the time to read my short story of my DREAM!
