Kan Takagi

1979,Joins Punk band FLESH. From1981 Till 1984 Performs for Tokyo Bravo, a new wavy Garage rock band. Starts DJing at Tsubaki House in Shinjyuku Tokyo Bravo breaks up. Appears on movie, “Legend Of Stardust Brothers”Directed by Makoto Tezuka(1984) the offer of Yan Tomita, starts rhyming to support Seikoh Ito(1985) 1986,Forms Tiny Punks with Hiroshi Fujiwara, start making moves Numerous clubs open, and starts the DJ trend in the clubs. 1988,Establishes label and production company, Major Force with Toshio Nakanishi, Gota Yashiki, KUDO and Hiroshi Fujiwara. 1991 Releases first solo album, “Fruite of the Rhythm” from EPIC/SONY. From then, releases 4 albums. Grass Roots(Kioon/Sony 1992) Heavy Duty(Epic/Sony 1993) Artman(EMI 1997) Hello(WEA 1999) and produces and remixes for numerous projects As one of the pioneers of the Japanese Hip Hop scene, Kan Takagi continues to establish his unique style and spirit to hype the musical scene today.
