Myspace LayoutsMy name is Christa and I'm 25. I live in Cortland with my fiance Justin and our two dogs Ryleigh and Lilly. I have one brother Billy who is 23 and three "sisters" Mel, Kate and Meggan. I recently lost my mom to ovarian cancer. My mom was the strongest person I have ever known. She never lost her willingness to fight this disease. After battling for over two and a half years, there were just too many things that her doctors were unable to fix and she passed away peacefully on December 8, 2008 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, surrounded by my dad Jim, my brother, my fiance and myself. Words cannot describe how much I am going to miss her. I never would have thought that at the age of 25 I would have to bury my mother. I know that she is with me everyday and will still be with me in spirit on those important days of my life that she never would have missed if she was still alive. On a happier note, Justin and I are engaged to be married on June 20, 2009! We are very excited about our upcoming wedding and plan on taking a trip to Europe for our honeymoon. I am also working at Spex Express again in Sycamore. I love it there and am so thankful for the hospitality they have shown me throughout my moms illness and death. I still teach dance for School of Ballet Arts in Sycamore and hope to working there alot more after I am married.
