Casual Genius was formed in May, 2006. In the beginning, bassist Sean McNally and drummer Case Jemison met in a music class at Lawrence High School. They were in a slew of short lived bands together. After searching for guitarists for months, they finally landed Evan Lang, home to Hopewell High. He was recommended through Sean's bass teacher. Thus Casual Genius was formed! They started practicing in McNally's basement, later to move to Case's sick "sound resistant" room. And after a few run ins with the law, back to McNally's. They're currently working on a demo due out around Spring 2008. Sample songs off this demo are on the myspace RIGHT NOW! Listen to them, that is all. Stay classy New Jersey.
