About Me

Though born in Istria, I made my way to Wittenberg where I became a professor of Hebrew and fell under the influence of Luther. During the years of the Augsburg Interim, I opposed the imposition of Papism on the Evanglical lands of Germany. Later, I defended Luther's doctrine of forensic justification against Andreas Osiander. I also defended my radical doctrine of original sin (which is also that of Luther and Holy Scripture I might add!) against Strigel and the Philipists. Though those fools who wrote the Formula of Concord believed that were upholding Luther's position on the doctrine of original sin, I saw through it and while in Austria hulled curses at them.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who believes that original sin a substance, rather than an accident and that human beings possess the image of Satan after the fall.
