It is easier to act yourself into a new way of thinking than to think yourself into a new way of act

About Me

I graduated with my Master's Degree in May and I am proud to say that I am THE rehab Social Worker at NHC Place. Now, now, calm yourself - I guarantee it's not the type of rehab in which you're thinking, or headed towards.... Hehe. I work mostly with the elderly, and to my surprise, dearly enjoy it. RESPECT THY ELDERS!! I have lately found just how many life changes I can make once forced to do so.... Who would have thought that my days of malted hops and bong resin (thanks "Tommy Boy") could lead me to this wonderful place?!.. width="425" height="350" ..

My Interests

Music - all types, and I love live shows. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSICIANS!!And...

I'd like to meet:

The person(s) who decided that those who make the most difference in others' lives (social workers, teachers, etc.) don't deserve ample pay. I would like to drag this person(s) into the street and continually run him/her/them over with my Saturn. How's that for social work?!

Music:

I pretty much like it all: The Beatles, including all 4 members' solo stuff, Dave Matthews, James Taylor, Coldplay, Rolling Stones, Radiohead, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, Ben Folds, Johnny Cash, Girls & Boys, The Features, The Hotpipes, Mile 8, The Cry Room, Norah Jones, Widespread, Alana Davis, Prince, Bill Withers, Donovan, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac, Jack Johnson, Jamiroqui, Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty, Bonnie Raitt, Matisyahu (seriously, check him out), Beach Boys, just keeps going and going and going....

Movies:

V for Vendetta, Forrest Gump, Reality Bites, Mr. Holland's Opus, Tommy Boy, Dazed & Confused, Moulin Rouge, The Sweetest Thing, Big Fish, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Grease, Half Baked, Dumb & Dumber, Dirty Dancing, Brokeback Mountain, My Life, Anchorman, Singles, 200 Cigarettes, Bridget Jones, A Beautiful Mind, any Beatles movie....

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Friends (such a classic), Studio 60, Sex and the City, Weeds, Roseanne, Family Guy, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Brothers & Sisters, anything on TBS....(I'm really cool.)
