JAH Daniel In The Lions Den Daniel Richarson born in Rocky Mount , North Carolina on April 30th 1974 . Daniel and brother Duane started playing music in church like most southern musicians . Daniel said , " When I was about 7 years old , my Grandpa would take me and my two brothers to church on the weekends so we could learn how to play music . After he died in 1986 me and my brother Smitty , would still my fathers church keys and practice our reggae music until my uncle Bunny and Dad walked in on us one sad day". Now that Daniel has written well over 50 songs . His favorite song that he wrote is Lies and Promotions . He said that , "The song tells of the slavey that I've been facing in my life . People seem to like the song as well . It's a song that is full of anger and rage in a positive form ". Daniel is also a activise on equal rights and justice for all . From free Mumia to helping people from "Katrena" . He is a strong force that can only get stronger with time . An his time is now !Mission: To change how people perceive Reggae music. Reggae has always been tagged as a “Jamaican thing”, not a culture thing . Jah Daniel will bring a change to that way of thinking , inspiration to those who never had the chance to appreciate Reggae music and understand what is being said.
