-Tony BizZ-Luis “Tony BizZ†Serrano was born in Bronx, New York on the 1st of October 1982. Tony BizZ was greatly influenced by Bone Thug’s ~n~ Harmony, 2Pac, Biggie, Salt & Peppa, Patra, Boyz 2 Men, R. Kelly, Slick Rick, Mad Cobra ect. Moving to Providence, RI at the age of 17, Tony BizZ continue to follow Bone Thugs ’n Harmony and Bizzy Bone. The Founder of Da Basment Studios, a name which has become very common to both family and friends of Tony BizZ. He and his nephews spent many days in what they called Da Basment, even before the studio was dreamed up.
In the year of 2006 Tony BizZ took his first steps into the music industry; while learning the art of engineering tracks. The first artist produced by Tony BizZ was Fatal Shotz, who completed a Mix CD entitled “Fatal Attraction“. A movement which started as a pass time; become more serious in the year of 2007, when Tony BizZ stepped into the booth to record his first track. Being inspired by DJ-Uneek, Timbaland and Swizz Beats; Tony BizZ began to roam in unmarked territory here in Rhode Island and started to created beats for local artists. Having the fire and passion for music has helped Tony BizZ continue to evovle and grow with the music industry. As both names Tony BizZ and Da Basment became more known, he was able to offer studio time to local artists. With this opportunity Tony BizZ has been given the chance to work with many artists, such as Nando, Fatal Shotz, Temperamento, J R y El Killer, Who Dem, Fedd Hill, Cruzzafix, Freco, J-Ville, Divina, Dante, Esther (J R little sister), “Gabriel†da Messanger, J-Gully, Trey Pounds, Bori Nize, Rodriguez “LRP Musikâ€, 2ble-D and Wande. Some of these artist Tony BizZ has been ask to produce for them.
Tony BizZ who is continuing to expand his knowledge of the music world, is now experimenting with directing and producing music videos. A Jack of all trades; Tony BizZ also works with graphic desinges on filiers, business cards, CD covers and posters.
