Tris Jones, born 12-6-1972 in the UK, after a handfull of productions, kickstarts his career with the rerecording of "Binary Finary" called "Binary Refined" on Platipus Recordings in December 2003. In 2004 he starts his own label called Hotdecks and that same year Tris is proud to release his first Production "Mondial" on this label.
After releasing some remixes, his productions started to be heard all around the world including Judge Jules "Judge It For Yourself" winner no more than twice, Dave pearce "Dance Anthems" on a number of occasions & who could forget Lange’s NYE Essential mix, Paul Van Dyk’s Radio Fritz show & A State Of Trance future favourite winner with Armin Van Buuren … More remixes are done, Tris has the honours to record the some big tracks.. First came "Calling your name" with the angelic queen of trance’s vocal "Jan Johnston" for Platipus, launching an offer from Sony to remix there newly licensed number 1 from Denmark "Steppin out" by "Laze" finally being approached by Universal to remix "Plummet" "Damaged" which finally reached number 13 in the UK charts after being whisked straight round to Judge Jules on dub plate for his Radio One show! , and he comes up with the highly successful track "Alba Rossa" originally with the voice’s of Kirsty Hawkshaw, Judy Tzuke & daughter Bailey (Freemasons) & shot with video & massive intensions....Due to political reasons this was’nt meant to be but did have a release on Platipus with the beautifull voice of Xan.
Tris has had the chance to play with some big names such as Armin Van Buren, Ferry Corsten, Ronald Van Gelderen & Rank1 at some superclubs & ressident at Passion @ The Emporium in the UK, this led to being asked to perform as one of the original 8 "True To Trance" dj’s on the infamous www.di.fm eventually earning him his much deserved 2 hour show every second Tuesday of each month at 5PM GMT called "Hotdecks In A State" including Future tracks, classic tracks & special guest dj mixes!
Be sure to tune in!!!!!
A complete overview of Tris’s productions is given by his discography as well. Check out all his remixes and tracks, such as "Solar Factor - No Return" and "Solarstone - Speak in sympathy".
