Hello to all you fellow fans of music. We're One September, we're just some regular dudes from Sterling, Illinois (and Baraboo, Wisconsin) who love getting out there and rocking out. All our songs are written about and during unique times when our hearts seem to beat to a riff or tune. We love using our God-given gifts for Him and to share our thoughts on the common roller coaster of life that we all have to ride sooner or later.
We started out as some friends that just liked to listen to and play music. We all played music previous to the forming of the band. But one day, Johnny picked up a guitar and started messing around and Aaron got into playing the drums. They started jammin' whenever they got a chance; playing cover songs and eventually forming a band-ish thing. Then our current bassist, Logan, joined us on rhythm guitar and we started playing our first original songs under the name Lovespan. Several months later we got together with our current rhythm guitarist, Austin, and our former bassist, Josh. We played one of our first shows with the new members at Crossroads under the new name of Paradox with little amps and some big ambition. A couple months later, Josh decided to leave the band. Logan switched to bass, and we really settled in. We eventually decided we needed to change the name and decided on our current name, One September. We're writing, recording, and rocking.
