Metaphorically Speaking
A Few Of My Favorite Things
Precious interests me the most obviously, she takes up most of my thoughts on a daily basis. Other than that I keep myself busy with music, whether it be writing, singing, or listening to music. I'm an avid writer, a huge fan of poetry in motion, spoken word, a cappella, things of that sort. I also play the drums, artistically I express myself best through music. I play ball when I can, I hit up the club every once in a while, I'm big on dancing. A huge influence/inspiration in my life is believe it or not, my brother, younger, but way beyond my years in many ways. All in all I pretty much just chill and do what I can to get ahead in life.

Precious is my lover, my best friend, my sister; shes more than enough. She keeps me sane, talks to me, listens to me, shes everything I want and need in companion. Perfect for ME, after so long I still look forward to seeing her everyday, I still need to talk to her before I sleep, and I still love her more than anything in the world. Nothing and no one here on earth could take her place. My heart has settled with hers and hers with mine, her weaknesses have become my strengths, and my shortcomings her strong points. She truly is a charm, precious, irreplaceable, very dear to me, I love her.
What I Listen To
Music, this is my passion. I like a song to take me to that emotion that the writer was feeling when he wrote the verses. I appreciate great vocalists, as well as great composers. With that said, the music that is coming through my speakers on a daily basis consists of a variety including lyricists like Kanye, Talib, Lupe, Common, strong women such as Alicia Keys, Goapele, and Lauryn Hill, soul singers Anthony Hamilton, Maxwell, Dwele, John Legend, Ne-Yo, Mario, and pop/r&b entertainers like Usher, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland.
These artists of course, are the products of throwback greats, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, young Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Sam Cooke, Boyz II Men, and Brian McKnight.
