I love puzzles, cards, games and brainteasers. I enjoy taking tests, but don't often get that opportunity.
I spend a lot of my free time on the computer. I like to design websites, I usually do it for fun. If you found me alone and I wasn't on the computer, I'd probably be reading about or sketching dragons and castles.
I am the Volunteer Coordinator for the Eagle River Fred Meyer. I also volunteer with the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.
I really enjoy being outside and just hanging out with friends and family.
I like to go for long drives, listening to music, singing along with it and enjoying the scenery.
I love the dark. I might light a candle or two, but that's about it. My favorite days in the winter are the ones where the ice fog creeps down the mountains. Always trying to lure me away into it's depths...
I love to listen to a wide variety of music. I generally listen to alternative rock. Dance and Techno wind me up and make me want to get up and do something, that's what they should play at the skating rink. Sometimes I put in Celtic or Irish music, but I have to be in the mood for it.
I have a passion for sitting around listening to the guitar being played. I miss sitting around with Uncle Buron, Hoyt and Johnny in Horse Shoe Beach just listening to them playing and singing, those were the good days :)I got a new guitar and I was trying to teach myself to play. Not so easy for me. I've been shown a few chords and I just can't get the hang of it on my own.
I enjoy psychological and supernatural thrillers such as Sixth Sense, Donnie Darko and The Others. Cheesy horror films can be fun as well. I love epic war movies with a good battle scene like Braveheart. I love when a movie is set in medieval times. Thirteenth Warrior is one of my favorites.
I am not a fan of chick flicks with the exception of My Best Friends Wedding. Well unless Moulin Rouge is considered a chick flick? As it is one of my all time favorites. As for comedies...they just have to strike me the right way. I loved Benny & Joon, What About Bob and Weekend at Bernie's...but everyone knows I just watch that for the dance moves!And of course I Love Jack in The Nightmare Before Christmas :)
And as for cartoons I have one and only one favorite...Alice In Wonderland...I give myself such very good advice, but I very seldom follow it...
Trama Room, ER, Law & Order and The Medium are about the only shows that will keep me off the computer at night. I enjoy some reality tv like Survivor, Wife Swap and Super Nanny. This summer we were too busy with hiking, exploring, rock climbing and picnics to watch tv.
The "Fire and Ice" series by George R. R. Martin were the last books that I have currently read and thoroughly enjoyed...
