Hedjs first experiences with Drum&Bass were in the late 90ies and they soon made him fall in love with this energetic sound. So it didnt take a long time when he started making his own beats. After some time he met Grooveside from Hamburg, Germany, and he joined the Liveact “Grooveside Project”, formally also known as Grooveside and Access. After splitting up with Grooveside, Assimilate Recordings owner and german Drum and Bass pioneer Cativo got interested in Hedjs Style. With now numerous signings and releases on Assimilate rec., Hedj also got some deals with many other Labels. Currently his tunes are played by Ed Rush & Optical, Lethal & Khanage, Nightwalker, Rusher, Nphect, Mumblz, Zardonic, Cativo, Dj GIS, just to mention a few. Also Hedj and his girlfriend are promoting and organizing parties in his hometown Augsburg, to present a high quality standard of Drum&Bass for the next generation.
