Kingston,Jamaica 1996. A night club called Catcus the crowd knew they were going to see a show but who knew they would be seeing the beginning of history. Two 11 year old identical twins swagger on stage the MC says, "The Queens". These young girls took over where they weren't even supposed to be! They have been doing it ever since, with their hot lyrics over slick reggae dancehall,ripped hip-hop or top 20 beats, untouchable dance steps, sick whines and mesmerizing appeal. They have stung audiences at Sting 96,98,99,2000,2002.
They crossed the ocean and climbed the chart with the French sensation Pier Poljak. The K Queens rough and rugged vocals graced his track and their hard sexy swagger enhanced his video. Then back to stately lands where they did up the Big Apple with Junior Cat and Sanchez.
The K Queens did not rest there they traveled to the Dirty Dirty, Atlanta where they no doubt ripped the stage with Sean Paul and shocked concert goers to open on a show mashing it up with the Atl"s own "Trillville" and Bounty Killa. Now its back home to Kingston for some roots,culture, a pad, and a beat.
With a trade mark Ooh Wee and for real Long Time!!! the girls have now become ladies, legal at 21 they are ready to truly storm the music world and make their mark as young women no longer little princesses but truly Queens.
