About Me

Hey my name is Vicky..um yeah. :)
I just finished my last year at longsands college in st.neots, taking art, music and media a levels. My passion in life is music, I play bass in a band called CLEAR-CUT and another band called THE MELOPHOBICS
I hope to one day play bass professionally. Next year I'm hoping to do a degree in popular music.
I enjoy art, especially photography.
I love my friends and my family. *slush*
Ermm I dont know what else to say...have a look around here, and thats me.These are some of my most recent photographs. On the top left is a homeless man i met in trafalgar square who arranged lots of pigoens on tourists for fifty pence. Top right is a part of a series of photos about my friend Lisa, this was of the books on her bedside table and 'i love you' had been written there by a friend but she hadn't noticed it until i took the photo. On the bottom is my friend Siona in the gardens next to the gaudi museum at park guell, barcelona.

My Interests

Friends, Family and Music are the three most important things to me.

I play bass guitar, but I wish i could play everything. I could die for live music.
I attempt song-writing, when something happens I might as well make a song out of it.

i also love photography and art. I love polaroid cameras, who knew that extra strip of white space could make a photo look so cool. i love pop art and anything a bit kitsch.

I'm a fat kid at heart. I love ben and jerry's ice cream. Cookie dough, yum. Best eaten with friends, especially with UCAS cards.

I am also a Crunchy Nutter.

my friends are very cool, and all the things i do with them.

Little things please me. I like obversing people, seeing what makes them tick.
I have a chronic sense of time urgency and I need it to feel alive. I moan about being busy but I love it really.

I'd like to meet:

So many people. Biffy Clyro, Dave Grohl, Flea, Jeff Buckley, Stevie Wonder... I could go on for ages but I think the question is aimed at who I'd like to meet on myspace... so umm interesting people that would rather have an actual conversation than their photos commented 1000 times. If you want to add me then I would like it if you would say hello rather than just adding to the numbers.

Music:

I love so many bands but I'm not gonna be silly and list all of them. We'll be here all day. Here's some favourites: Biffy Clyro, Jeff Buckley, Foo Fighters, Stevie Wonder, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Jamie Cullum, Pink Floyd, Jamiroquai and Led Zeppelin. I am loving the blues funk and jazz right now too; James Brown and the sonny clark trio, stuff like that.

Movies:

Almost Famous, Forrest Gump, Toy Story (any disney films really!) Grease, and any thought provoking films like east is east.

Heroes:

Jeff Buckley. Dave Grohl. Stevie Wonder. Flea. Andy Warhol. Sheryl Crow. Homer Simpson. Biffy Clyro. Elliott Erwitt. And I know everyone says this, but my friends and my family.
