Recently moved back home to LA with the mutts, but lived in exotic places like Russia, India, Shanghai, New York City, Denver, St. Louis, and Richmond VA. Best gig of my life was teaching at-risk kids in NYC how to surf. I try to learn from every bit of life and always working to one-up myself. My biggest turn on is a good conversation, and talking to me could get you a free burrito. I'm a foodie and live for trying new restaurants. I also enjoy taking risks, observing oddities, and reading maps. I'm a nonconformist looking for others to share life's burps, an advertising geek and wannabee-poser/hipster, a missile maker and nepot, surf instructor and international dj. And recently, I've been a humbled cripple and a CEO candidate.
I escaped adolescence just barely without a criminal record. I have an insatiable curiosity and have picked up a few books and CDs and languages in my short time on earth. Love to puddle stomp though worried I may be getting too old for it at times. Perfect day would be sleeping in, talking to a few of my friends all over the country, picking up a book I have struggled to complete and actually finishing it, going to the dog park and having my mutt actually not attack another dog, and then taking whatever is in my fridge and making a masterpiece. If my standards seem too high, don't fret. I am content with living so close to the ocean and breathing fresh air, drinking cool water, and not showering until sundown. I enjoy a riveting match of strip solitaire from time to time. I speak cryptically and honestly. I like to challenge people almost as much as I like someone to tell me I'm wrong and why. I am politically balanced and hate angry democrats and ignorant republicans. My opinions often make enemies, but the friends I've gathered around the world I seem to carry with me from place to place. After my nomadic years in the cultural anthropology and advertising field, I moved back to my hometown of LA in 2005. I think I'll stay put for a while.
