About Me
I play the upright bass. I am a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, Columbia/Sony Records recording artist and have performed worldwide since 1989.I've taught music every summer from 1991 to the year 2000 at the Stanford University Jazz Workshop.I teach privately with much success.I've performed professsionally with Billy Higgins,George Cables,Tom Harrell,Harry Whittaker,Rob Bargad,Lewis Nash,Stephen Scott,Roy Hargrove,Richie Vitale,Duane Clemons,J.D.Allen,John Mosca,Ben Waltzer,Jimmy Lovelace,Winard Harper,Philip Harper,Ray Gallon,Mike Kanan,Jimmy Madison,Clifford Barbaro,Lou Rainone,Saul Rubin,Ralph LaLama,Jason Jackson,and Chris Byars to name a few.I've made many recordings with my own trio.On the pop side I played bass on Nellie McKay's album "Get Away From Me".I've also recrded with Coati Mundi,Speedball Baby, and Pharoah's Daughter,Saul Rubin etc.
