I'm not perfect. Sometimes I try to be. I'm still learning a lot about myself. I miss who I used to be, and am slowly gaining it back, only better this time around. I used to be strong and weird, dark and fun, wrote poetry, never went anywhere without my camera, and was the girl everyone went to for advice. I am still this person underneath. I love photography, I write short stories, poems, and journals. I'm going to publish a book, if not a hundred more things, someday. I want to travel everywhere. I have gone to Kentucky four times for Habitat for Humanity. I am very open. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I keep secrets and go the extra mile for those I care about. I am trusting, sometimes too much, hopeful and realistically optimistic. I am a romantic and can be very intense with my feelings. I believe in (and practice) monagamy, committed relationships, family and friends. I have amazing friends.
I love music, I miss marching band and drama productions and choir and percussion. I enjoy a good drink and I've never smoked a cigarette in my life. I am strongly for gay rights. It is one subject area that is non-negotiable for me. I know that I will end up marrying a man, but whatever happens between now and then is open for interpretation. I have deep interests in psychology and human sexuality. I love to read and will be an english major when I go back to school after taking the break that I am currently on. I am not a girl even I would have suspected to be in a sorority, but I love my sisters dearly. I have depression. I can be a basketcase one moment and be happy as a clam the next. I do not excuse my behavior, but depression is real and I am fighting against it. I'm not crazy, but my family is. I love them anyway.
I am crazy about penguins, and am in love with lighthouses. The shore is my second home. I like singer/songwriter, piano rock, some classic rock, and random bands (Weezer, Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, Third Eye Blind, Placebo, John Mayer). I like movies, especially chick flicks and indie films (Garden State, Say Anything). I love and have 4 tattoos. I sell sex toys. I have a thing for guys who wear black eyeliner. My favorite thing to take pictures of is sunsets. I can't wait to grow up and have a family. I like cheese curls better when they are stale. I can't cook, but I can bake really well. I am pyrophobic yet I love candles. Washington DC is one of my favorite places to be. I am a klutz. I like mosh pits and watching people in them. I love being in love, and can be very affectionate. I am easy to talk to.
I've wanted a kitten since I was 5 years old. My mom is my best friend. I love high heels but I can't walk in them. I like making arts and crafts, and I love making collages. I would marry John Cusack in a heartbeat. I am not religious but I am spiritual. I like tea and 24-hour diners. I've always wanted to dye my hair blue, and I've always wanted to sing in a band. I like the paranormal even though it freaks me out. I enjoy stand up comedy, especially Dane Cook, Lewis Black, and Eddie Izzard. I'm that girl that wants to be friends after a break up and means it. I love love LOVE pickles. I always see both sides to a situation. I believe in fate, karma and second chances. I always follow my heart.
