I'm a class of '99 graduate of Ulster County Community College with an Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems--Microcomputers In Business. After graduating, I was offered a job at a Web design/print design company. I worked there for about 3 and a half years before leaving in December of 2002. In January 2002, I began my own Web design & development company and continue to build my clientiele.
My hobbies include playing pool, researching my family tree and reading, but my all-time favorite hobby is music and the guitar.
I've been playing guitar since the fall of '94 and I still feel that I have a long way to go. I mainly play rhythm guitar but I've been trying to pick up more leads. I play many different styles of music including Classic Rock, Alternative, Metal and some Blues. Some of my influences include Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Metallica, Black Sabbath w/Ozzy, and Pantera.
I currently own 6 guitars. My newest guitar is a Jackson MG Series DKMGT Dinky. I also own a semi-hollow body '71 reissue Fender Telecaster Thinline. It has a natural wood finish with a pearl pick guard. My favorite guitar is my Fender Stratocaster which has a maroon finish with a black pick guard. I also own an Epiphone Les Paul with a sunburst pattern, a teal Ibanez RG-270 with a Floyd Rose tremelo bar and an Acoustic/Electric Seagull guitar. I currently use a Roland CUBE-60 COSM amp and Peavey Transfx 208s amp with a built-in effects processor.
I also own a black Ibanez TR-70 4-string bass, a Yamaha PRS-630 keyboard and a mandolin. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to truly learn how to play these instruments but hope to learn more in the future.
