About Me

I hate these profile things...When I'm not trapped in a cubicle, I write poetry, act in indie flicks/community theater (when people let me), do photography (still looking for darkroom access) and play violin for the band Twelfth of Never. I'm terrified of everything, but I tend to warm up eventually...coffee helps. The video in my profile is a wicked short artsy thingy that Rick and I filmed one night for fun. You should watch it. http://www.myspace.com/rickchandler has other movies/trailers and such.

My Interests

http://www.livejournal.com/users/nightly_shadow, http://www.twelfthofnever.com, http://www.newenglandphotosplus.com, http://www.ahtspot.com/Ahtists/Performing.htm Watching/making movies of all kinds of qualities, listening to/making music, reading, coffee, photography, obscure things no one knows exists, rats, tattoos, coffee, performing in/going to the theater, various artsy crap, coffee, perusing graveyards, things...

I'd like to meet:

Who I'd like to meet? I'm a pantophobe, I'm too afraid of everyone to meet them! hehe. And either way, I'd just say something incredibly stupid. Then again, I'm always saying something incredibly stupid...

Music:

Random selection: Twelfth of Never (I'm their resident sloppy violinist, woot), Cruxshadows, Dreamchild, Voltaire/The Oddz, They Might Be Giants, Sirenia, Snog, Kompressor, Seven Sunless Days, Danny Elfman/Oingo Boingo, In Flames, Midnight Syndicate, Dresden Dolls, In The Nursery, Velvet Acid Christ, ThouShaltNot, Switchblade Symphony, Land of the Loops, Specimen, Bella Morte, Mortiis, Apoptygma Berzerk, The Birthday Massacre, London After Midnight, Covenant, Leather Strip, musicals (Phantom of the Opera, Bat Boy, Urinetown, Spamalot etc.), Wumpscut, Thomas Truax, Jason Webley, And One, Le Tigre, Regina Spektor, I could go on and on....please don't hate me for the music that makes my heart happy.

Movies:

Another short/random selection: Willard, Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, Shenanigans!, The Crow, Weekend At Bernie's, Nightmare Before Christmas, Muppet Treasure Island, Phantasm, MSTK3 selections, Re-Animator, The Brave Little Toaster, Corpse Bride, They Might Be Giants (not to do with the band), Dead Alive, etc etc etc. (I won't list ones I've done, though I like them too.) Generally, horror and comedy flicks, the better if they are both at once. And I'm a sucker for kid's movies.....

Television:

Shows like Kids In The Hall, That's My Bush, Saved By The Bell and obviously Are You Afraid of the Dark?....and naturally, all of these shows are long gone. Of course, there's always Simpsons and Family Guy.

Books:

Stephen King (specifically The Shining), poetry, Tim Burton and his happy cheery kids books, comics (Sandman, Lenore, JTHM, Crow, Calvin & Hobbes, Voltaire's stuff, and so on), HP, ghost stories, all those books my dad got for me from the dump....I read a lot of stuff, we'll leave it at that. Currently reading: "Dark Tower VI" - Stephen King

Heroes:

I'm obsessed with people like Danny Elfman, Edward Yankie, Tim Curry, Udo Zimmer, Steve Buscemi...in other words, really creepy guys, haha.
