Sal Capone was born in Los Angeles and raised in the streets of El Monte. After many family tragedies he was forced at a early age to face the cold and indifferent realities that confronted so many young people of his generation. Sal absorbed all this anger and pain and found a way to channel these energies through music. Sal heard music in a way few others seemed to appreciate. His voice was his instrument. n his heart hip hop planted a seed and grew. At thirteen years old he was tearing up the mics at house parties, gigs and corner gatherings. In 2000, Sal Capone hooked up with “Slow Pain†and the group “Old Town Gangstersâ€.He dropped various verses in their first release and became a featured artist on Old Town’s subsequent releases including his solo hit, “Sal Capizoneâ€. Sal’s continuing search, for a better sound, led him to begin collaboration with “Seven†of “Hellafyde Recordsâ€. In March of 2004, Hellafyde released Sal Capone’s first solo album “Gangster’s Onlyâ€. Since that time his album has been generating a huge street buzz. From the hard, real, cold truths that surround Sal Capone to the violent upbringings and near death experiences Sal has penned his life in this classic album produced by Hellafyde’s hitman “Seven".Currently Sal is working on his second album and a Spanish group project.
