After learning more about pets in shelters, so many things seem small in comparison to the crisis that is going on with our abandoned pets in this country. Fortunately, for the most part, I'm in a pretty good place in my life. Sure I've zigged and zagged, and I've learned quite a bit in my 49 years thru the school of hard knocks, but hey... that's how I've become the person I am and its all good. Personally, I think I've done really well over the years raising my 3 kids alone, being a self employed single mom with only a high school education and a little college and being very successful in my careers. Some people admire that in me and some people have chosen to judge and punish me for it. I'm thankful for all that I've experienced even though I would request a few chapters deleted if I could, just so I could put back those years that were taken off my life due to stress LOL. I am a firm believer in having good psychology because it really is the key to life. Learn it. Without it you will go nuts trying to understand people, situations, and life. I would also describe myself as a happy person who really loves life and living. I have given up on trying to be with people who are not nice or who don't want to be a part of our life. I will not share myself with dishonest people, rude people, clicky phoney people, shit stirrers,liars or people who don't care about my well being or my families. I really prefer to be with animals if you want to know the truth. Looking back on things, I think I've pretty much always been like that since I was a small child... LOL. I guess you could say I'm pretty content in my skin and don't really need to put myself in a situation where I need to experience that kind of "stuff" just to be with people. Nah... that would not be me. I like to feel love and life. I would describe myself as creative, artistic, truthful, caring and a bit fiesty at times. Jeffrey calls me "Spunk Muffin" LOL. I love music and all my kids love music. They can sing really well, I cannot! but you will catch me singing in the shower and in the car where noone else can hear me LOL. I enjoy inventing and creating. Love humor. Sometimes I color outside the lines, but hey... it's a right of passage for someone who had little to no parenting and has been thru what I've been thru in life. I'm an open heart survivor. Yay! Thank goodness for that! I have a nice home life, family, and a man who loves me very much. He really takes good care of me and in some ways takes better care of me than I take care of myself LOL. If I hear him say "Michelle, don't pick that box up" again one more time... LOL... He says he wants me around for as long as he can keep me around. How refreshing is that. He is my angel. We have been together now for two years and for the most part we have been together every day. Its been fun and its been like one very long vacation. We have moved to Florida to a nice artsy community where the people here are so pleasant, so nice!! Its been a great experience so far. And, I am finally starting another new business. And for fun, I'm making dog jewelry and volunteering at the local Humane Society when I'm not spending time with my four dogs and three birds and family. We have rented a store front and I'm so excited to get started with both businesses! This is going to be big!! This will be my third self started business and its very different from the rest. I will keep you posted ...
