Formed in 2002 Genesis, formally known as "The Band", first started as a project to keep the youth at New Miracle Temple Evangelistic Church occupied. After much practice the group gained it's first major performance at the churchs Midnight Musical held on Good Friday of that year. After the performance the seven young men then consisting of members Gerrod Brown, Frank Johnson, Jacquel Edwin Madison, LJ Madison, Eric, Russell, and Perry Williams were encouraged to pursue other oppurtunities outside the walls of the church. Throughout the next year the young but ambitious gentlemen would venture on a journey to tell the city the Lord was moving in young people too!Perry n studio
