ATTENTION all streetballers:
If you think you got the skills, come defend your game, and compete against other ballers from your city. Only the best will make the cut and get invited onto the hardwood to rep your city against the And 1 Mix Tape team. Only true ballers understand this competition, so if you think you got game, come hit the pavement and show off your skills...but don't forget you only get one chance to prove you're the best.
This summer's tour was one to remember. We witnessed some of the sickest performances ever seen, higlighted by Air Up There's gravity-defying 720 throw down in Texas. This past summer many ballers came and tried to secure a spot on the bus, but in the end, only one player succeeded. Jerome Holman, aka Circus, stepped up and won the contract after walking on from the first Open Run of the summer. You can check out Circus and the other AND 1 ballers on "Streetball" which is currently airing on ESPN. Also be on the look out for AND 1's new TV series, "Global Invasion", also airing on ESPN.
In his new TV commercial, the Air Up There claims that he is the top jumper in the United States. At the Mix Tape Tour game in Houston, he showed everyone why. Towards the end of the game he was on a breakaway, got the pass from Main Event, went up and threw a down a 720 degree dunk. After the game he said, "So I had to do a dunk I knew hadn't been done before." This dunk has been seen all over Sportscenter and the web.....
