Essentialz A.K.A.Tito was born on November 16.1986 in Sarajevo,Jugoslavia under the goverment name Sasa Jevremovic. Sarajavo was the capital city of Former Jugoslavia,prior to the break-up which erupted in 1990, early 1991. Basically though, real long story cut short. The kid grew up in Bosnia till about 1991 and then he relocated to Beograd, Serbia. The fighting was getting heavier and a lot more intense though. Plus, Essentialz was probably around 8 years old, starting to really fuck up real early because of the enviorment he was forced to grow up and live in. So, his parents had decided that this wasn't the place that they could raise their kid in because of everything that was going on at the time and it kept just getting worse. They had struggled around donating their blood everyday so that their kid could just a get a piece of bread to eat for dinner!shit was unreal! But they kept hustling and struggling and had somehow figured out a way for them to get up out of the country. So then in September, 1994 they had come to Toronto, Canada. But even though the war was bad enough this wasn't an easy thing to adapt to either at the time. He know any English, there was no war going on or nothing. It was all new to him. When he went to school there were a lot of fights, getting suspended, getting kicked out of every school possible. Cops busting in and out, people snitching, people in out of his life either dieing or getting locked up, drugs, charges, mad bullshit. The only thing he claims, that kept him sane and out of a cell and the reason he's still walking today is MUSIC. All he does is listen to albums,bangin out instrumentals,freestyling and writing all and everyday.Thats his air, he says. From all the good things he has seen to all the fucked up shit he witnessed, Essentialz had always kept his head up and tried to make the best of the worst at all times. Currently though he is working right now to put out his debut mixtape set drop may/june 07 called Hell On Earth!
