Hello there! I am The Doctor...the definite article you could say. To be exact, I am the fourth one. You see, I am a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey. My people have the ability to regenerate our bodies whenever we are close to dying. It is a handy little ability, but not a very pleasent process. Anyway....I spend most of my time travelling through time and space in my old TARDIS with my companions and saving the universe or some planet (particuarly Earth) from being conquered by some crazy meglomaniac. Ocassionally I have to help out the Time Lords... It is not something I am fond of doing. People say I am all teeth and curls. I love jelly babies.
