A humble beginning much the same as anyone else, Midnight Alibi (MA) began with the frustration of figuring out the formula of writing a song. Hours were spent in that room, writing and writing to no avail. But when that first epiphany hit, they were off and running. While nights of wondering of how to match lyrics to music are long gone (but not forgotten), they have now been replaced with thoughts of grandeur and hope, wanting so bad to take the next step, whatever that may be. With their final lineup of musicians now set, MA is using a kaleidoscope of influences to create a musical style to call their own; influences that range from progressive rock to pop punk, and from indie to various alternative sub genres (such as “emoâ€). Although, there is a large array of influences that play on the creation of their music, they also have common interests and goals, which are reflected in the music as well. With shows under their belt at venues like The Door in Fort Worth and Dallas, Fat Daddy’s Soundshack, and the Drink in Denton, MA wants more. They want people to hear the gospel that is their music, to feel their creation in heart and mind. They want to be one with the fans. Midnight Alibi wants the crowd to feel the ecstasy they feel when striking the chord to a new song.
