It is with as much disbelief as you that I can say One Step More has now been running for 3 years. Thanks to everyone who has made it possible to keep going even when we've had our venue and day changes. At Tiger Lounge I finally feel like the night has a place to grow into something even better. The music is better than ever and I don't feel pressure to make it into something it's not... One Step More started life as a night playing an eclectic and exciting mix of music you can relax to, party to, get confused to and most of all just enjoy. Playing Spacemen 3, Low, Mogwai etc... needent be a stuck up kind of thing and playing something as obvious as Common People or Another Brick In The Wall shouldn't make you cringe. 3 years of night's suggests you may well agree.
The One Step More... 3rd Birthday will take place on Thursday 6th August with special guests from our first 3 years and lots of other treats. Any suggestions are also welcome... More info coming soon.
