Don Fernando are a heavy rock and roll band from Melbourne Australia. Together for four years, they released an EP (“Its good while it lasts”) in 2005 and stonerock.com had this to say: “This is no bullshit groove heavy rock; there is a passion and aura to this release.” “These guys should be signed; they’re that good and the riffs that cool and passionate.”They are to release their debut album “The Banquet of” in November and it is set to be one of the most talked about rock albums of 2008. Every track has its own personality, from brooding low down rhythms to ball tearing riffs this album is nothing but heavy. If this doesn’t have you grabbing the nearest stranger by the hair and screaming into their face I don't know what will.Keep your eyes out for Don Fernando as they weave their way around the country playing shows in support of their debut album.“The Banquet of ” hits stores November 8th on MGM / Ramblin Rose Records

Don Fernando - It's Good While It Lasts Reviewed by Matthew Tranker (StonerRock.com)

Don Fernando calls Australia home. This is no bullshit groove heavy rock; there is a passion and aura to this release. This four piece can deliver the goods like Priest circa 1978. The guitars tones are fuzzy like warm milk. The riffs are catchy and memorable and very intelligent. Furthermore, these songs just rock your pants off. Stylistically, Don Fernando gets their influences and can be compared to Queens of the Stone Age and Fu Manchu. These guys should be signed; they’re that good and the riffs that cool and passionate.
