CherryVata is a harmonious combination of electronics and live instruments as well as vocal; versatile cocktail created from feelings and emotions; striking mixture of waves, sounds and moods… And all this is miraculously illuminated by nu jazz, reggae, dub, breakbeat, funk & rock elements. Date of birth: 2003. Since then CherryVata’s sound has been evolving in its improvisation eliminating style frames and limits.“CherryVata band is a very welcome phenomenon in the Belarusian musical world and is perhaps the most famous representative of the Belarusian electronic mainstream at the moment. These people create the final CherryVata image following one another, leaving shades of their creativity and personality. The band has already released four albums.As well as: • the score for the play “Balzaminov's Marriage†(Mogilev Drama Theater staging); • work at the soundtrack for the “Cruelty†movie (starring Renata Litvinova); • numerous performances at festivals: Koktebel Jazz Festival (2008, 2009, Ukraine), StareSelo (2009, Lviv, Ukraine), Pustie Holmi (2009, Russia), Kubok Lva (2007, Lviv, Ukraine), Eshe Leto (2006, 2007, Brest, Belarus), Mozhno! (2009, Moskow, Russia); • the first Belarusian full-format album of remixes collaborating with the best Belarus music projects (J:mors, Bez Bileta, Atmoravi, Access Denied and other). • CherryVata shared the stage with: Jimi Tenor, Camouflage, Hybrid, Banco de Gaia, The Herbaliser, Boombox, MoRandi, LЮK, Yolochnie Igrushki, Bi-2, Mamanet, 4.Ð.Й.К.Ð., Dusty and other.May, 2009 has been marked by the release of the fourth album "ViaVanilla" and new level of creative development. CherryVata’s cast have been reformed, their sound have become much deeper, more impressive, authentic, and drive has started to displace lyrical mood during live performance.
