About Me
Hey there, it's Rebekah! I was born in Kokomo, Indiana.Unfortunately this isn't the Kokomo that the Beach Boys sang about! :-) I actually grew up in Madison, Indiana though....as my mom would call it the "sleepy little town on the river". Not much happened there, but we found stuff to do like hide and seek in the corn fields, going to Walmart, and all that kind of fun stuff! I set out on my traveling lifestyle with my job when I was 21 and haven't returned to southern Indiana except for some brief visits since.I'm a respiratory therapist and really enjoy my job, and it has allowed me to see so much of the country. In the last six years I have lived in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Massachusetts, Arizona, and Hawaii. I have met so many great people, made incredible memories and life long friendships. My nicknames that I usually am called range from Bek, Bekah, Bekah D., Beckers (only by a select few who won't die cause they know the story behind this!), Reba, Bekah D. Chickadee....those last two are my mother's doing!I have one younger brother who is so awesome and I'm so proud of him...he's a way better person than I'll ever be! I don't have any children, but have a beautiful nephew who is 3...the cutest and funniest kid ever AND he already knows how to recover a fumbled football!! How smart is that?!What are my favorite vacation spots? Well, I lived in Hawaii for four months...some would consider that a four month vacation...it's beautiful there...also loved Acapulco when I visited there. My favorite holiday other than my birthday, which I've declared a national holiday, would be Thanksgiving. My favorite foods are anything chocolate and anything Italian.I like to relax by sleeping, lounging on the couch, watching stuff I've DVR'd, talking on the phone, and random roadtrips!Where do I see myself in 10 years? Well, I really hate this question? I don't know where I'll be in 1 year let alone 10...But hopefully I'll have a really rich husband who lets me buy LOTS of shoes and KISS stuff with his money! :-) Just kidding!! And hopefully I'll be sucessfull in my career as well, which in 10 years should be a Hospital Administrator.....we shall see! What do I do when I'm bored? For what I can actually tell you (wink)...I travel somewhere...but I usually keep the road hot and don't end up bored very often!I love all life has to offer, laughter, getting dressed up, traveling, football season, special moments with family and friends, receiving emails, surprises, and more emails!
