My parents have just adopted a 12 year old blue crowned conure. He lived all alone in the guestroom of his former home for several years because his mom got married and her husband was not a bird person and didn't love him. He had a big cage and lots of toys but no companionship or proximity to a window. His mom cared enough about him to know that he deserved better than such a lonely existence so she found a new home for him(us) where he could be part of a family. I don't mind sharing as long as he knows that I am the queen.I am a beautiful 6 year old vegetarian sun conure parrot. I was born in Key West, Florida and driven up to Richmond by my parronts, Keithley and Sid. (I also have a human step-sister,Katy).It was a road trip from Hell. I was terrified of them and they were terrified of me. At a rest area in Georgia I hid up in the steering column shaft for 45 minutes.It took us about a month to reconcile our differences and I still bite them sometimes just to keep them in line. I also scream whenever I feel like it. Another thing, I am a kisser and if you don't watch out I will try and slip you some tongue. No kidding. It's pretty gross I guess, but I can't help myself. I love to dance, especially to Eminem,Shakira or Gloria Estefen. I was named after Puff Daddy but then my parronts decided I was probably a girl so I became Puff Daddy Mama, but then Puffy became PDiddy and now Sean and it's just too confusing so now everybody just calls me Puffy or the Baby Puffington ..
