______Hello and welcome to MYspace. I am a Houston girl born and raised, however thanks to spending some time in the Navy I was able to travel for long periods of time to other places and meet many great people. After being injured in the service, I had to get out and pick a career so I chose teaching. I have the BEST students out there and their toughness makes me tougher but also brings out my weak side at times. I admit, no matter how tough I appear, what so many of them have been through at their young ages has had me in tears a few times. My family is also very important to me and we spend a lot of time together. Finally, my home is done being built! Decoration time has now begun! I loves sports- in particular baseball and boxing. Baseball is one of those sports I learned to love and now I am addicted. Boxing is a sport I have grown up around while my Dad was a pro boxer, then promoter, and today a NABF rater and sponsor/member of the Hall of Fame. I enjoy judging for USA Boxing on the weekends, well about as much as I love to shop, travel, read and write, meet new people, and relax.
