I have one or two "so-called" faults, but don't fault me on them, lol. Other stuff I enjoy includes, hiking, astronomy, playing darts, playing golf, playing pool, LOTR, Star Wars, reading classic novels, partying, 420, and my family and friends.I love spending time on the computer, and so can be found .. on most days. I'm always looking to meet new people and make new friends.When not .., I can usually be found with close friends and/or family around my hometown, but not always.I work a weekday morning shift at a plant that builds several styles of heating stoves, and though I enjoy the work, it can get rather exhausting after a while. I've only been in this line of work for that past few years. before that, I was a full-on night-owl, with evening/graveyard shifts in the foods industry.There do come times when I come very close to truly becoming the Hermit that I name myself after. When this occurs, I love to withdraw from the world in my own little way. Long walks along the coast or through a wood, or even a few hours of solitary meditation and contemplation.I have at times been called odd and unusuall by others, and my first response is usually to thank them, lol. Sometimes though, I get gently nagged and teased, reguarding my long-time "single" status. In truth, I have never actively sought out a relationship, though I tend to remain open to the possibility. I would prefer to save that time for when I feel ready for it, both mentally and financially. I have witnessed far too many friends and family members who've rushed into relationships that didn't last, or bankrupted them. My view has been that if that's what a relationship was like, then I was better off without. Recently though, I've started re-evaluating that assesmant.I also have a fascination with the midievel era, and have been looking into joining the Society of Creative Anachronism.

Dart throwers, Hockey lovers, writors, spelunkers, astronomers, Star Wars fans, Harry Potter fans, Tommy Chong, Dhali Llama, Carl Sagan, Stephen Hawking, Robin Williams, and the grandfather I never got to know. People with similar interests and/or in my neck of the woods. I enjoy meeting new people of all ages and walks of life, but I'm also interested in dating/romance with women within 10 years +/- my age, and who share similar interests.
