About Me

My name is Greg Jacobs.I write music, sing, play guitar and bass and sorta play keys in my band: Existaria... I find that making Music is the easiest thing in the world to me - baring writer's block, and other frustrations.I also like to make things... partys, stories, t-shirts, paintings, sculptures, whatever... I like creation. I like to build, craft, construct, imagine and think about such things.I used to play poker for a living (but found it boring and completly unsatisfying).I am now a graphic artist... though I get paid to be a graphic designer, and that is all well and good. But I hope to grow as a graphic artist, though for my job I am quite good enough, because it is a more even blend of form + function. i.e.: I look at my job as crafting hammers. Sometimes these hammers need to be subtle, elegant, harsh, or aggressive in form. They must all function. I do not look at what I do as art – it is more craft. But I can work on art in the time between working.Other than that I am like anyone else... I like having fun with my friends, hang out, etc... ...My heart gets torn apart when I watch wonderful movies, hear wonderful music, or see wonderful things. I find it to be nearly the most enjoyable thing in the world.
