About Me

Well graduation is almost upon me again. Yes this will be the 4th time that I graduate from school (once from high school, twice from college and now from medical school). I am also in the process of interviewing for residency. I have been one of the die hard medical students that knew exactly what they wanted to be when they came into school. So now I just have to match in some emergency medicine residency in the southeast (do not want to be to far from home).
I am still very much involved as a nurse in the ER and ICU at Roper hospital in downtown Chucktown. Other fun things include driving my honda interceptor around town.

I am a Wolverine fan ... even though I have lived in the south for over 20 years I have maintained my loyalty to Michigan, and yes I can say we were robbed by the BCS (Florida should never have been allowed to play Ohio State for the championship game).

My Interests

Driving around town on my motorcycle, walking along the battery in Charleston, participating in martial arts (Sogo Goshin-Do) ... yes I am a blackbelt!

I'd like to meet:

The choice is yours, the road is open ... will you linger alone, or will you dare to expand your soul and mind? Wanting that person who can make me laugh, knows when to say hello instead of hi and can carry on a conversation way into the middle of the night. Must be energetic and witty (also able to take jokes and give them back). Must also enjoy having a body massage and also in turn give one! Searching for that one person who just loves life and doesn't stop doing anything.

I can one minute be listening to Enya or Phantom of the Opera and the next minute throw in some Disturb and then turn it into Faith Hill .... I know a little strange, but aren't we all ?

Books:

Just started to read the bible (have gotten through the book of John .. now into Acts). Also reading Mere Christianity. Last non-medical, non-christian book I've read was Harry Potter.

Go Blue Go .. Michigan Wins Again

Well Michigan barely pulled out from losing their number 2 position in the standings, but are still neck in neck with Ohio State for the championship position. They were able to beat Ball State today...
