Greetings! I'm the bass player for the U.S. progressive metal band, All Too Human. Thought I'd put a personal page up because I'm interested in meeting cool people and starting new music projects. Amongst other things anyway. I currently reside in the Greater Los Angeles Area (North Hills to be exact) and work at a law firm in downtown Los Angeles.I am also co-founder, co-owner of a new record label and distribution company called Astral Sun Records & Distribution. My partner is Gordon Tittsworth (lead vocalist for Images of Eden). Our MySpace is up so look us up. We are working on our main website and will be launching the business soon. Our first release will be the new All Too Human CD, "Juggernaut". It will hopefully be ready for release sometime in September 2008.I have started working on a project with Don Duzan in the Los Angeles area called "Engage Eight". We are working on songs for a full CD and will be searching for musicians to play out live. More details as things develop.I have started working on several projects that will involve re-duplicating music that I have been involved with that dates back over the last 20 years. It is a personal dream of mine to try and release all or as much of this music to the public. Some for sale, some just to be released for those who are interested.Another project I am working on is with Chris Lucci (drums) and a longtime friend, Harold Garcia (guitars). It will be a trio along the lines of Rush. It will revamp some of the music from a band Chris and I were in a long time ago called Muzix, along with some new material. I have always been a major Rush fanatic and this band is mostly to pay tribute to them. We don't have a name yet but I'll keep you posted. Harold and I will be sharing vocal duties.Sometime in the future, I will be working on a project very called Ausgang Nine. This will include Eric Kendall (guitars) and Blake Younger (drums) from the band Minor Joe in Dallas. For various reasons, things have been slow to develop but we hope the project will see the light of day in the very near future.I also plan to work on a solo project with Cristian van Schuerbeck (keyboards) from Chile (who now lives in France). My solo effort will also include musicians from all over the world. We'll see how it plays out. I hope to have a 20+ minute epic rock opera type piece on the ensuing CD.The music will include solo works, music from the band MUZIX, unreleased All Too Human material, music from VSTL (Van Schuerbeck, Taylor, Lucci), the aforementioned Ausgang Nine, and Engage Eight). And don't laugh, but I will also be pitching some country songs to a publishing company in Nashville in the future.I am hoping that this brand new focus on music will help me to regain the clarity that I have been missing in my life over the last few years. I have setup my recording studio and am ready to start working on all of these music projects. More music news to come soon.I also own a 2001 Triumph Bonneville but have not ridden it in a long time. I'd like to start riding dirt bikes. Maurice
