I grew up in columbus Ga.I played football and baseball, but my love was speed skating and cycling. I speed skated most of my life and raced for Skate A Rama which turned into Southern Reign which was one of the biggest teams around at the time. I met alot of great people including several olympic medalists, Derek Parra, Chad Hedrick just to name a couple. I also had the pleasure of knowing Nick Whitaker which not only was a world class athelete but a wonderful kid, Nick and his wonderful dad Tommy where taken from us when they were killed while training on their bicycles.
