ABULIA -TIRELESS ENGINES. This eclectic post modern rock/indie album was a huge achievement for not only the musicians involved but also for HDP. Numerous musical textures and layers flow throughout this record and are intriguing and mystifying even after multiple listening sessions. New elements and sounds reveal them selves to the careful an attentive listener. Clearly one of our best recordings to date. Abulia was mastered by legendary mastering engineer Stephen Marsh of then Threshold mastering in Los Angeles. It's officially available for purchase and is also available for download on the Tireless Engines Myspace page.
DAYS TO COME - THE VICTORS was release in the 1st quarter of 2008. 3000 units will be pressed which contain 12 original songs. It was mastered by Lurssen Mastering In Hollywood California and will be commercially viable in today's modern rock radio playlists. We would like to thank The Victors and Follow Your Plan Music for creating such a nice recording experience for everyone at HDP. IN THE WAKE - THE SIMPKIN PROJECT. We are pleased to announce the release of The Simpkin Project's new record. This will be their second release with HDP and it has been eagerly awaited for some time now. The new album appropriately entitled "In The Wake", has been a major project for the studio during the past year and a half. We cut zero corners to accomplish what we believe to be the best sonic performance and mixes ever achieved at HDP. This is due to the fact that no one facet of the recording process was ever ignored in pursuit of sonic excellence. Because of the success of The Victors record, The Simpkin Project also had their album mastered by Jonathan Belzley at Lurssen Mastering. You can find all of the Simpkin Project's music on itunes and CD Baby.
WALK ON TALL - THE SIMPKIN PROJECT. The album that started it all. In 2003 long time friend Phil Simpkin recorded 6 original reggae tracks with us. At the time of the recording sessions no official plan had been set to commercially release the album even though it had gone through the mixing and mastering process and was theoretically ready for replication. After mastering it would sit in the archives of the HDP vault. Fast forward four years and Phil and his newly formed "SImpkin Project" are now in the position to finally release their first record. There album titled "Walk On Tall" features 6 original songs combined with four dub remixes of of the six recorded tracks. Please visit www.simpkinproject.com for details on how to acquire a copy of this outstanding reggae music production.
