About Me

This layout is from whateverlife.com ; get yours today! With her dynamic blend of instantly recognizable logos and rhema and non traditional delivery style, La’Veda Le is undeniably one of the most lyrically intelligent and vocally appealing worshippers of this time. As La’Veda Le’ began to realize the effect that her music had on its listeners she became increasingly humbled and attentive to the voice of God. At this time He began to teach her the responsibility that is an integral part of her destiny. God admonishes La’Veda to be careful what she introduces to His people in this genre’ of music, that the gifts in the body are for the edification of the body.La’Veda Le’ was born La’Veda Le’ Vette Wallace to the Late Bishop Lee O. Wallace Sr. and Senior Pastor Dr. Christine A. Wallace. She was a PK (preacher’s kid) from the age of four years old and learned very early in her life that God’s call was preemptive and He rewards obedience. However she wanted to be a "ride or die chick" and displayed dual and dueling personas. Her family referred to her as "the wild child" and her father dreaded the day when she would elope with someone that they had never met. In her teens she participated in pageants and modeling which helped to groom her and encouraged articulation and poise. As a young adult she sang in many night clubs in her home town while occupying a position on the Praise Team at church. God eventually reined her in and her compulsory for "why?" and her resistance to the status quo are very much a part of her music. She blesses God for saving her and keeping her for Himself.La'Veda Le' has received more than a few and various awards and honors. She was offered an internship in Congress with Georgia State Representative Cynthia Mckinney. She also received the award for Leadership, Professionalism and Excellence from the Chief of Signal Army Corps, Fort Gordon, after performing a rap as a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King. La'Veda Le' has volunteered with numerous non-profit organizations because of her love for community and particularly children and subsequently, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Christian Ministry-Music on January 28, 2006 from the C. E. Graham Seminary and Bible Institute in Columbia, South Carolina. She was selected as one of Who's Who Among American High School Students and Madison’s Who’s Who Among American Professionals. La’Veda Le’ currently attends Beulah Heights University and is on the National Dean's List maintaining a 4.0 GPA. La'Veda Le' has been performing all of her life and has recently added great appearances for great artists to her repertoire' such as James Brown, the Late Hall of Fame Inductee Bill Moss, The Queen of Gospel Music Twinkie Clark, James Bignon, Jimmy Hicks, an appearance on TCT TV, Marion, Illinois, which was telecast live into 104 billion homes and 170 nations, the world renowned Mighty Clouds of Joy and numerous others. In 2007 she appeared on Streamingfaith.com with Women NPower and has recently been invited to become one of Canton Jones' Affiliates, an outstanding honor. Her music is featured on several radio stations and websites.Often compared to artists such as Beyonce’ for her attractiveness and energetic live performances as well as Aaliyah for her smooth and enticing vocal quality she continues to broaden her fan base while lifting up the Name of Jesus!!Contact Tables

Influences:My mother, Dr. Christine A. Wallace, is an outstanding vocalists, she still reigns as one of the best. My father, Bishop Lee O. Wallace Senior (In Glory), was a song writer for groups such as the Mighty Clouds of Joy, Mighty Sons of Glory, Bill Moss and The Celestials, Slim and the Supreme Angels, The Swannee Quintet, he wrote "When I Need Him Most" (Sons of Glory) "I've Got One Thing You Can't Take Away" "Meeting Tonight" (Mighty Clouds of Joy) "Surely The Lord Will Provide" (Swannee Quintet) and countless other songs for many groups. His song "I've Got Onething You Can't Take Away" won a grammy for The Mighty Clouds of Joy. My daddy was so much like Jesus, forbearing, forgiving, giving, loving, and gentle. He took me into the recording studio at a very early age. My sister, Pastor Lithia Le'Christy Wallace,a powerful, and anointed evangelistic singer, pushed me very hard to develop both vocal control and abandon. My brother Minister of Music Derrick Le'Vann Wallace (In Glory), my twin, had a keen ear for music and preferred verbatim to improvisition. He was a very capable musician, accomplished and progressive. My 10 year old nephew is an inspiration to me, because of his courage. He has performed a concert in Atlanta playing the Hammond organ, demolishes a drumset, harmonizes and straight vocalizes better than most adults and dances like a mad man. He danced with Kirk Franklin at the "Hero Tour" and he gets more press than me. My uncle Pastor James Abraham of the Dynamic New Abraham Brothers of South Carolina. My cousin and choreographer Chazitear (Tearyma'), girl has fame running through her veins. My uncle Richard Wallace of the Mighty Clouds of Joy, has sung for Kings, Queens, Presidents, and Heads of States around the world. There are several local artists that I admire.
Sounds Like:Just as the Clark Sisters, The Moss', The Winans, and Jacksons to name a few, have their own distinctive sound the Wallace's also have a distinctive sound. I inherently sound like my father, mother, sister, and uncles with strong vocal clarity, and vibrato. However I have a tendency to lean towards hip-hop styles of music and am both mellow and highly energetic.
