What would you do if there was another city wide blackout? Or a flash flood covers Manhattan? Or another Blizzard with snow 4 to 6 feet high? Fire in your office building, apartment building or school? Remember 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina? Both emergencies one man made, the other was an force of nature. We can be better prepared.... Think about it.
None of us want to think about this stuff at all. However.... When these things happens, we should be ready. A friend of mine and I are working on a Documentary Film on Public Safety in New York City. I have learned a lot from the research and interviews we have done. I would like to share some of this very fundamential things we all can do to make us ready for a real emergency.
