i like flowers growing in pots that i remember to water and don't kill. i like sparkles and shiny. i love flip flops and wear them even in the cold. i like foofy coffee drinks that don't taste much like coffee. i like looking at the stars and haven't made it out to any of the peach mountain open houses yet, dammit! i'm stealing this stream-of-consciousness statement on my profile idea from blondie. i love natural history museums, and can't wait to visit the field museum in chicago. super mario bros. 3 from the original nintendo is my time-waster, my relaxer and my weakness. same with tetris and galaga. i like making cupcakes and putting sprinkles on them. i am addicted to post secret; i check it for updates far too often. i read dear abby every morning. i can't stand snow--the first snowfall of winter is pretty, but after that the novelty disappears. on the first wonderfully sunny day of summer my favorite thing to do is drive around listening to "a place in the sun" by lit with my windows down. i love to paint my toenails, but can't quite seem to let my fingernails grow enough to paint them too. garage sale shopping rules. record shopping at encore & pj's is right up there too. encore should do a stamp card like pj's--it's only right. summer isn't complete without seeing at least one show at pine knob, especially if you're tailgating. my dog makes life happier. so do my friends and family; who knows where i'd be without them... drunken monkeys are tasty..if you want the recipe, just ask! sometimes i miss channel surfing. my job makes me crazy but it pays the bills. i used to write in my journal obsessively but i have really been slacking off lately. someday i will visit the pyramids, stonehenge, madrid, and athens, and i will see a zebra running free in its own habitat. if i wasn't so freaked out by fish, i might go scuba diving too, but i think i'd probably end up in a glass-bottomed boat instead. i am probably too blunt and should just keep my mouth shut sometimes. i love playing board games and the like--i'm a connect-four champion and i dare you to take me on. i love watching people dance when they know what they're doing. actually, i love people-watching in general. the best places for that are the airport, and the five-dollar-voucher shows at pine knob! karen knows what i'm talkin' about. i love cookies & cream, and the dollar movies, and roadtrips. it's been far too long since i've had a real roadtrip! i'll add more later, possibly.....
