The name Electric Lizard is inspired by a recent visit to the Bahamas. While on Acklins Island we encountered many wonderful things…in particular the food, the people, and the wildlife. The lizards were especially amazing. They are as common on the islands as squirrels are here in continental U.S.

Electric Lizard's Creative Director LUTHER JOHNSON is highly proficient in all common aspects of multimedia and video production: computer graphics and animations, video editing, camera operation and Web site design. For the past few years Luther has made Web development his primary focus. He labored as a Camera Operator and Art Director for a number of years in the television industry before his introduction to Web Development. Luther has even received the very prestigious Telly Award for his work as the Art Director for the documentary, Forjando una Comunidad – “Forging a Community†– a history of Mexicans in Detroit. While employed with the largest software development company in the mid-west, he worked as an Art Director and Web Programmer and developed his in-depth computer programming skills.
He graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design, in Ohio, with majors in Illustration and Fine Art and a minor in Advertising Design. Luther also earned an MBA with a particular focus on eCommerce. Luther participates in a number of Art Exhibitions nationwide, and even won 1st place two years in a row in the Detroit Festival of the Arts Banner Competition (professional division). Luther even has years of experience professionally painting murals for The Limited Express, Max & Erma's Restaurants, Victoria's Secret and Planet Hollywood.
