About Me

The Dirtminers have it all! These five super-talented 18-25 year olds burst on the music scene in 2005 with the dynamic ep "Meat and Electricity". Combining sexy movie-star looks with fabulous pop hooks, this group next topped the charts with their blockbusting 2007 full-length cd "American Typewriter." With a stage show that uses tasteful partial nudity to make important social points, the band took to the road opening for and stealing the show from mega-artists like Beyonce and The Margaret Thatcher Band. Look for them on an upcoming PBS fundraising special!
Miss Edwards' Grade One has this to say about the Dirtminers: "Fantastic, cool, very good, really loud awesome, really hot, very talented, nice, talented, very dirty, great, I don't know, rock and roll, umm, hoolish like a hoola-hoop, off the hook, egyptian, stiff."

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: http://www.dirtminers.com
Band Members: Raph Worrick plays guitars and sings, and makes the stuff up. Most of the time Ron Rost is abusing the organ and related instruments, but sometimes Wayne Reiss beats the piano, hard. Matt Rogalsky plays bass and all kinds of other stuff. Karen Ferguson Laundon wails on fiddle and accordion, and sings real nice too. Jeff Labossiere keeps everything together from behind the drumset; unless of course Pete Bowers or Russ Lawton is sitting back there.
Plus the odd surprise visitor now and then....
The Dirtminers play a bunch of barely functional old junk exclusively.
