About Me

Hi everyone, welcome to my space, and enjoy…I'm a Christian (Mennonite background and adherance, but OK with other Christians, and if you're not a Christian, that doesn't mean I dislike you or whatever), a musician (piano, synth, trumpet, tuba, guitar, singing, other random stuff), and a Canadian (who likes to travel but also likes to come home). At this point I suspect I may become a career missionary. I'm attending Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg, beginning a Bachelor of Music degree.
You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan. You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Lots of people. Jesus, the prophet Jeremiah, Confucius, Blaise Pascal, J. S. Bach, Leo Tolstoy, Bobby McFerrin, Thomas Tallis, George Verwer, Oswald Chambers, St. Francis of Assisi… But not just historical or famous people. I also like meeting people who are intellectually competent, questioning and willing to learn from each other. Not to mention people who are seriously sold-out for Jesus. I tend to like those people. And if any of my friends scattered around the world will be swinging through the BC Lower Mainland, gimme a holler.

So tonight at about 10 PM a few of us CMU students decide to go on a Sev run (that's a 7-11 for you non-Winnipeg people) to get Slurpees. It was -18°, but with the wind chill it was -30°. It caused my...
