Mike Jackson is a songwriter whose first cut by Mac Wiseman was in the 80's, a song called "Countin' Pennies", whichappeared on Mac's MCA/DOT Master Series Album. Today, Mike continues to write and produce bluegrass from his Red Oak Sound Studiosnorth of Nashville, Tennessee.Mike's first full length album project is nearing completion, and features Ronnie McCoury on mandolin, Jason Carter on fiddle,Clay Hess on guitar, Charlie Cushman on banjo, and Robert Gateley on bass.Mike and the group HoneyRun perform original material with Evan Lamberth on mandolin, Jeff Munday on bass, and Eddie Cooper onguitar and backup vocals.
